Workmanship Warranty
1-Year Workmanship Warranty on All Installations
Aerosphere Electric warrants all installation labor for one (1) full year from the date of installation. This includes our work itself - mounting, wiring, connections, fittings, and any defects in our installation methodology. If our work fails within 1 year through no fault of yours, we return at no charge to correct it.
Equipment / Manufacturer Warranties
Equipment carries the manufacturer's warranty. Aerosphere Electric registers your equipment with the manufacturer to activate your warranty - many customers don't realize their warranty isn't valid until registered. We handle this for you.

What's Covered
- Installation defects (poor connections, incorrect mounting, etc.)
- Equipment failure within manufacturer warranty period (subject to manufacturer terms)
- Labor to diagnose covered failures during workmanship warranty period
- Refrigerant required to repair covered AC component failures (within warranty)
What's NOT Covered
- Wear-and-tear from normal use (air filters, batteries, etc.)
- Damage from improper use or modification by customer
- Damage from natural disasters (fire, flood, lightning, earthquake)
- Damage from animal infestation (rodents chewing wires)
- Lack of routine maintenance (annual tune-ups)
- Pre-existing conditions in the home not related to our installation
- Cosmetic issues (paint, drywall imperfections) outside our work area
- Equipment with damaged or missing serial numbers (voids manufacturer warranty)
How to File a Warranty Claim
- Call Aerosphere Electric at (714) 499-6656 with your invoice number ready.
- We schedule a diagnostic visit within 1-3 business days for non-emergencies.
- If we determine the failure is covered (workmanship or equipment warranty), we schedule the repair at no charge to you.
- If the failure is NOT covered, we provide a written estimate for the repair.
- For equipment warranty claims, we coordinate directly with the manufacturer for parts and authorization.
Documentation You Receive at Job Completion
- Original signed contract with workmanship warranty terms
- Manufacturer warranty registration confirmation
- Manufacturer warranty paperwork (printed and emailed)
- Permit and inspection sign-off documents
- HERS test report (for HVAC installs in California)
- Title 24 compliance documentation
- Equipment serial numbers and model numbers
- Aerosphere Electric job number for future reference
Transferability
Workmanship warranty is non-transferable (limited to original purchaser at the original installation address). Manufacturer warranties typically transfer at sale of home - some require notification to the manufacturer within 90 days of sale. Aerosphere Electric will help new owners with warranty paperwork at no charge.
Extended Warranty Options
Many manufacturers offer extended warranties (5-12 years beyond standard) that can be purchased at install time. Aerosphere Electric presents these options during the estimate phase. Typical pricing: $300-$1,500 depending on equipment and term.
